SITE
April 28,1997:
Lee Smolin's "The Life of the Cosmos" has just been published by Oxford Press: An extraordinary work, highly recommended. This is a hot theory- post publication developments can be found at http://www.phys.psu.edu/SMOLIN/book. Also see a fascinating survey of a future science by Stuart Kauffman at the Santa Fe Institute site.

February 14 1997:
Major Molt: MkzdK 4.0
A major molt has occurred; there is a new java active, more compact navigational interface. Oversize files have been tamed, so the site will run faster.
The main areas,Visions, Lounge, Sitelog have been pruned and refreshed, and are joined by the Super-Feature, "Cosmos".

The old area called "Gateways" is gone. Some chosen net resources are in the Lounge as "Connections". Most science links will be carried for the moment in the area apropos, at the end of documents.

In the Lounge, there are some cool Pixound© applets, designed with custom sounds in the venerable MkzdK tradition!

January 1997
New Galleries in Visions;
especially the megadox of Delerium and Subliss;
try to reach The Visitors in 'Labyrinth'.

Spinoffs and satellites:

Sounds are seeping in. Mostly wav. files, can be best grabbed with quicktime on the mac.
